Advocacy Services

Advocacy and support are provided to the child and non-offending caregiver(s). Services include community referrals, crime victim compensation information, support at court hearings, assistance with housing, transportation, education (such as school behavioral and/or IEP meetings), and more.

Our family advocate is available to you before, during, and after your child’s forensic interview at the CAC. The advocate will be happy to sit with you and provide support and/or guidance during your time of crisis. Our advocate will also inform you of other services at the CAC, such as mental health counseling and caregiver support groups.
