Partnering Agencies

The investigation of child abuse is a team effort.

Valley Children’s Advocacy Center emphasizes the coordination of services by bringing together a team of professionals in Staunton, Waynesboro, and Augusta County, as well as Rockbridge County, Lexington, and Buena Vista, who work in a collaborative manner to ensure an effective response to create a child-focused approach to child abuse cases.

These multidisciplinary teams are dedicated to the investigation, support, and treatment of child victims and their non-offending caregivers. They meet monthly to communicate and collaborate on child abuse cases. They seek to come together to discuss issues of mutual concern and ensure that victims of child abuse have access to necessary services.
